Seymour Joseph Guy (1824-1910) Portrait of Woman

Very large portrait of woman by New York artist Seymour Joseph Guy, dated 1855.  Measures 29" by 36".  The frame is 40" by 48".  The painting is in very good condition with minor touch-ups and maybe in need of stretching.  The frame shows considerable repair and damage to the plaster.
